Is Gatto's a store, a restaurant or a food truck?

Gatto's is an Italian deli! At our store we have some grocery items, some dishes that can be purchased and prepared at home as well as some items that can be enjoyed immediately. We no longer have our food trailer but we will be rolling out pizza very soon!

Do you cater?

Yes! Contact us to tell us a bit about your event and we will get back to you with some menu options as well as pricing.

Do you deliver?

Yes! We deliver large/catering orders to Oak Hill, Edgewater & New Smyrna Beach for a small fee and a minimum order of $100. Contact us to place an order.

Can I have you at my event? How much does it cost?

While we don't set up for service at events, we are certainly able to do catering-style food deliveries. We are even able to provide sternos (for keeping food warm) for a small fee. Contact us for a custom quote or more information!

What's the story behind Gatto's?

We (Mia & Franco) started Zaza after our first son was born in the middle of 2020. We started by making personal portions of our family lasagna recipe, freezing them and selling at local farmer's markets in Sarasota, Florida. While the lasagnas were very near & dear to our hearts, we wanted to transform the business into ready-to-eat Italian comfort food in the summer of 2023. With the purchase of a food trailer and the birth of our second son, we moved from Sarasota to New Smyrna Beach to have a few more helping hands from family. In January 2025 we welcomed our third child (our first daughter) and secured the perfect space to build out the Italian deli of our dreams. Franco's brother Juan also joined the crew making this a real family affair!
